So excited!!!

My daughter had her ultrasound today and my grand baby will be here any day now.  I can't wait to see her.  We expect her within the next 4 weeks.  OOOOHHHHH!!! So excited. :-)  My  daughter said that she is already in position and she could see her hair flowing around.  Of course my mind is going crazy trying to imagine what she will look like.  I know she will be beautiful because she has two beautiful parents.  I love them both very much and wish them both all the best now and in the days to come in the future. <3

New mission.

Just saw an adorable little sweater on someones blog and just have to make it for Luna.  It is really cute.  I'm suppose to be finishing up on Catching Fire.  I'm on the last chapter, but when I read at bedtime, I'm so tired that I can't get through the first two pages, yeah, so I'm doing two pages per night. Pitiful. Smh.


It's been a pretty slow day...just the way I like it ,especially the weekend. :-)  I've been working on my blog design, which is really hard to get just right.  Reading on all the nifty gadgets as well.  Soon it will be looking better and more alive.  I'll get the hang of this sooner than later. Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.  I take criticism well.


OK, off to make dinner, Rice and chicken tonight.  I'll be back to this in a bit. Have a great night.  The kids want cake as well, so this may take a little longer. They want a peanut butter and chocolate chip cake. (Kids...in their 20's, but they're still my kids)

I got a new laptop and wanted to make a case for it. I really wanted to try making a felted case, so I went to my favorite shopping place for yarn - Unique thrift store.  I got pretty lucky, because I found a bag full of some awesome chunky wool yarn in some nice colors, and this is what I came up with.  I personally LOVE it!!!  I love the way felted knit and crochet looks and would really love to create some bags or purses. Think I will. :-)

After what seemed like a really long week at work, it was very satisfying to just relax and crochet.  I got back into it this weekend and made a really cute hat for my grand baby, and then when I finished it, decided to make her a baby poncho to go with it.  It was very fun to make and I really can't wait to see my Luna in it.

My Grand Baby!

So as some of you know, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first grandchild in late May.  I am very excited.  I just finished crocheting her a really cute dress and matching booties.  I sure hope it fits.  She will definitely be Grammas little model.  I saw this on Pinterest and just loved it, so I made it and then conjured up the matching shoes to go with it.  :-)  I absolutely love it.  I hope she does too.
